Welcome to the United Pentecostal Church of Lynbrook website. We trust you find our site interesting and informative.

Our worship is a testimony to the life changing effects of Jesus' ministry expressed among His people. You will see needs being met, healings being received and lives being transformed by the power of God. Your needs can be met too.

In the Lynbrook assembly you are invited to share with us the warmth and friendship we have found in Jesus Christ. His love has filled our lives with contentment and joy; this same experience can be yours also.

We hold two services on Sunday and on Wednesday evenings we enjoy Friendship Groups which meet in a home setting. We also have Sunday school, youth activities and ladies meetings.

Please look through this site and if you desire to know more you can contact us at upclynbrook@bigpond.com

We look forward to seeing you in church.

Pastor Philip Hogben.

The Objects and Purposes of This Assembly

We aim to perfect the people of the Lord by declaring sound doctrine from the all inspired Word of God. We meet together to truly worship God in spirit and in truth and to unite a people of like faith in the bonds of brotherly love and fellowship. We also aim to point the lost to Jesus Christ, the only One who is able to save our souls.

Statement of Faith of This Assembly

The United Pentecostal Church of Lynbrook declares and teaches

(a) The Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God and that it is the sole authority for faith, doctrine and instruction in Christian living.

(b) The Bible standard of full salvation which is repentance, baptism by immersion in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

(c) That God is absolutely one, with no distinction of persons and that Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead incarnate thus, all names and titles of Deity properly apply to Him.

(d) The theocratic form of Church government in which God, as the head, administers the Church (the members) through His servant, the pastor.

(e) The spiritual growth of the believer to be separated from the world, living a holy life in righteousness and witnessing of the Lord’s saving grace through the power of the Holy Ghost.

(f) The time is drawing near when our Lord shall appear and we which are alive and remain will be caught up together with the dead in Christ, in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.
